Myofacial Massage (therapeutic, deep tissue):
an invigorating massage for those who prefer deep muscular manipulation.
Swedish Massage (relaxation):
Gentle gliding and kneading stokes increase circulation and relax the mind.
Craniosacral Massage:
Employs a very light touch (only the pressure of a nickel) and achieves excellent results. The massage deals with the bones of the head, spinal column, sacrum and the underlying structures.
Reiki (Pronounced: Ray-Key):
Japanese technique which means universal life force energy. It is a non-invasive, safe, natural, effective, holistic way to heal. Reiki is not affiliated with any religion and is not connected to any belief system.
Reflexology:
Targeting pressure points on the feet that correspond to specific areas of the body. This is therapeutic and relaxing.
Hot Stone Massage:
Trained in three different types of stone massage I bring a new life to hot stone massage. Stones are used to relax the muscles so deeper work can be done. Hot stones can also be used to relax and warm the body and soul.
Foot/ back exfoliation:
Gentle exfoliation and lotion application. Warm towels remove the scrub leaving skin feeling soft and refreshed. Add this in to any session.
Pregnancy massage:
Massage done side-lying with bolsters and pillows in comfortable positions. This massage is therapeutic to mom and gentle to baby.
Doula Service:
The definition of a doula is
a massage therapist who has completed pregnancy massage certification and who has earned certification as a labor assistant. The word "doula" comes from the Greek word meaning "servant" or "handmaiden" and is used to describe someone who assists a woman through labor by providing physical comfort, emotional support, and information.
